Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple areas, including general spaces, laundry facilities, and specialized hospitality environments.
• Lead, motivate, and develop custodial staff to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Implement cleaning schedules and procedures aligned with industry best practices and company policies.
• Review and communicate weekly schedules for team members
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation protocols, including hotel standards or hospital cleanliness requirements.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to support efficient operations.
• Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of janitorial equipment.
• Address any sanitation issues promptly, escalating concerns as needed to maintain a spotless environment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and janitorial best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in hotel or healthcare environments is highly desirable for understanding specific sanitation standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in executing cleaning routines and managing supplies.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work efficiently in a physically demanding role.
• Relevant management or custodial certifications are a plus but not mandatory. Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
