Overview:
The IT Program Manager provides strategic leadership across multiple interrelated IT projects within enterprise programs. This role manages program resources, budgets, risks, cross-functional dependencies, and ensures delivery of integrated solutions that support long-term business value. The IT Program Manager leads governance structures, facilitates executive stakeholder engagement, and oversees change management and benefits realization across the program lifecycle.
Pay Range: $108,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities:
- Define and drive program vision, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and long-term business goals
- Lead planning and execution of enterprise programs composed of multiple related IT projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
- Establish and monitor KPIs and OKRs to evaluate program success and inform strategic adjustments
- Influence executive decision-making by providing insights on program performance, risks, and opportunities
- Lead governance structures and steering committees to ensure strategic alignment and stakeholder engagement
- Oversee change management and communication strategies across program initiatives
- Ensure benefits realization and post-implementation value tracking
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to allocate resources efficiently across various projects
- Review technical developments and work with teams to develop viable solutions to challenges encountered during project execution
- Develop integrated program plans and manage program budgets, timelines, risks, and interdependencies
- Prepare and present program status reports and dashboards to senior leadership
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (required)
- Master's degree (preferred)
- Ten (10) years of experience in IT program and project management, including enterprise-level initiatives (required)
- Experience in management of complex, cross-functional IT initiatives
- Expert understanding of Program Management, and Adaptive Project Management methodologies as well as agile frameworks and ways of working
Licenses / Certifications:
- PMP Certification (Required)
- PgMT Certification (preferred)
- Valid, state-issued driver's license (required)
Specific Accountabilities
- Technical Program Roadmap Ownership
Develop and maintain a roadmap for modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards. - Integration Oversight
Ensure seamless integration of new platforms with existing systems, minimizing disruption and maintaining data integrity. - Risk & Compliance Management
Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks related to cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and data governance. - Vendor & Technology Evaluation
Lead evaluation and selection of technologies and vendors for network upgrades, IAM solutions, and data platforms. - Quality Assurance & Performance Metrics
Define and enforce technical quality standards, including performance benchmarks for infrastructure and security systems. - Cross-Functional Technical Coordination
Facilitate collaboration between infrastructure, security, data engineering, and application teams to ensure cohesive delivery.
Skills
- Deep Technical Acumen in:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Data management technologies (ETL, data lakes, data warehouses)
- Network architecture and protocols
- Identity & Access Management (IAM) frameworks
- Advanced Risk Management for technical dependencies and cybersecurity threats.
- Stakeholder Communication with ability to translate technical complexity into business terms.
- Program Governance using tools like ADO, FreshService, or ClickUp for tracking technical deliverables.
