The Finance Manager is an integral part of our Accounting team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site.
Position DetailsThe Finance Manager supporting IT will serve as the primary financial business partner to the Technology Group (TG). This role is responsible for providing financial leadership, transparency, and strategic support related to TG spending, investments, vendor relationships, and project portfolio management. The position ensures financial discipline across TG operations, while enabling the business to make well‑informed technology investment decisions.
This is a highly cross‑functional role requiring strong collaboration with TG leadership, procurement, accounting, FP&A, and global/regional partners. The Manager will help build a scalable financial support model for a global TG organization with growing spend and increasing strategic importance.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual TG budgeting cycles, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range planning for global TG operations.
- Consolidate spend across corporate, regional, and site‑level TG teams; ensure accurate visibility into total technology investment.
- Develop standardized cost categories, reporting structures, and spend analytics for TG, enabling clearer global financial oversight.
- Partner with TG leaders to ensure budgets reflect organizational priorities, operational needs, and strategic projects.
Financial Analysis & Performance Reporting
- Prepare monthly performance dashboards, variance analyses, KPIs, and actionable insights for TG leadership.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of actual vs. budget/forecast, including headcount, projects, contractors, licenses, cloud services, and run‑rate operating expenses.
- Improve data integrity by rationalizing cost centers, accounts, spend categories, and vendor mappings.
Business Partnership & Strategic Support
- Act as the primary financial advisor to the Chief Technology and Digital Innovation Officer.
- Support scenario modeling, make‑vs‑buy analyses, ROI assessments, and strategic investments across the TG portfolio.
- Provide financial input into TG's governance, prioritization, and portfolio management processes.
- Participate in regular TG leadership reviews to ensure proactive financial insights are incorporated into technology decisions.
Project & Portfolio Financial Support
- Build and maintain financial frameworks to track major TG initiatives across infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, cloud, data, AI, and modernization programs.
- Establish standardized approaches for project costing, capital vs. expense treatment, resource allocation, chargebacks, and cost transparency
- Partner with project managers to maintain accurate financial tracking of project timelines, commitments, risks, and funding requirements.
Vendor, Contract & Cost Management
- Assess vendor spend and identify cost‑optimization opportunities, leveraging benchmarks, usage‑based analysis, and contract review.
- Collaborate with Procurement to negotiate, rationalize, or consolidate TG vendor contracts, licenses, SaaS subscriptions, and cloud services.
- Support evaluation of new technology proposals from a cost, value, and ROI standpoint
Process Improvement & Governance
- Strengthen financial controls, spend governance, and processes across TG.
- Develop standard templates, reporting tools, and models for improved forecasting and transparency.
- Drive continuous improvement across budgeting, vendor management, reporting, and project financial stewardship.

Education & ExperienceRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 7+ years of Finance/FP&A experience, preferably supporting TG, technology, operations, or corporate functions.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills; ability to interpret complex spending patterns.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for mid‑to‑large organizations.
- Experience with project financials, ROI modeling, and vendor/contract financial analysis.
Preferred
- Prior support experience with digital, or technology organizations.
- Familiarity with global business structures and multi‑region spend consolidation.
- Experience with ERP systems (JDE, SAP), planning tools (Adaptive, Cognos, etc.), or IT financial tools.
- Knowledge of cloud cost structures, SaaS licensing, and technology sourcing models.
