Epoxy Floor Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Epoxy Floor Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation, concrete finishing, and related construction activities. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying epoxy coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on commercial and residential flooring projects. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of construction techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools. Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing as needed to ensure proper adhesion of epoxy coatings
• Mix and apply epoxy resins accurately according to project specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools for surface preparation, caulking, trimming, and fixture installation
• Read schematics and blueprints to interpret project requirements and ensure precise application
• Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, sealing, and finishing to achieve a durable surface
• Assist with restoration projects including water damage restoration and remodeling tasks
• Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet quality standards

Skills

• Proven experience in flooring installation, epoxy coating application, or concrete finishing
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and buffing equipment
• Experience in tile laying, cabinet installation, carpentry, or remodeling is a plus
• Familiarity with water damage restoration industry practices and floor care techniques
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance
• Handyman experience or construction site experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of the restoration industry including fixture installation and construction painting

Pay: $ $31.85 per hour
