Do you want to lead development of an app used by over a million people? This is an opportunity to take ownership of a consumer app that’s genuinely visible, widely used, and part of everyday life for 1m+ people. We’re looking for a Lead iOS Engineer to shape and guide a core mobile experience in Native iOS application. You’ll remain close to the code while also setting direction, raising standards, and supporting the engineers around you. It reaches real users. You see the impact of what you build. You’ll lead mobile development within a close product team, working closely with product and design to make thoughtful decisions and deliver things that matter. The focus is on ownership and quality: Setting technical direction and making sensible trade-offs Improving how things are built, not just delivering features Supporting and mentoring other engineers Keeping standards high while maintaining momentum The opportunity
This suits someone who enjoys responsibility and wants to grow further as a technical leader while staying hands-on. You’ll have real input into architecture, tooling, and ways of working, all while building a product used at national scale. There’s room to stretch yourself, build confidence, and shape how mobile engineering is done over the long term. What you can expect

Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit (Storyboards, Nibs), Auto Layout, size classes Consuming RESTful APIs without third-party networking libraries, App Store release process (certificates, provisioning profiles, submissions) Git-based version control, debugging tools, CI/CD pipelines, unit and UI testing
