Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and common areas. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and toiletries as needed.
• Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to maintain the appearance of guest rooms and hallways.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning tasks.
• Provide exceptional hospitality by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care best practices is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• A friendly demeanor with a focus on providing excellent customer service in a hotel environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
