Summary
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards and Good In Vitro Method Practices (GIVIMP) across our organization. This role reports directly to the President and plays a critical part in maintaining our quality philosophy and supporting regulatory integrity in all studies performed at IIVS.

Responsibilities
- ' Schedule, assign, and perform protocol, in-phase, data, and report audits for GLP studies.
- Verify compliance with applicable regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain SOP documentation and oversee updates.
- Host sponsors, collaborators, and regulatory agencies during facility audits.
- Conduct internal annual facility inspections.
- Provide GLP training and assist staff and clients with interpretation of regulatory requirements.
- Participate in computer validation activities and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage critical vendor and subcontractor audit programs.
- Supervise assigned Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) staff and coordinate activities to ensure consistent GLP and GIVIMP practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: B.A./B.S. in biological sciences or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of auditing experience in a GLP laboratory.
- Familiarity with GIVIMP or New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) is a plus.
- Personnel management experience preferred but not required.
- Understanding of computer validation and data integrity concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
