Salary: Starting at £55,000+, depending on your skills and experience.
Your Mission:As a Commercial Manager, you will play a vital role in our contract activities. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Support all contract activities, including drafting and negotiating complex terms and conditions with customers, ensuring BAE Systems' interests are safeguarded.
- Oversee all contract aspects of business winning.
- Ensure contract activities align with BAE Systems' Operational Framework and relevant commercial processes, including Request for Bid Approval.
- Deliver commercial interfaces with Procurement and ensure the flow-down of commercial contract requirements.
- Support all Contract and Bid Status Reviews to clarify ongoing commercial contract activities.
- Act as the contract interface with both domestic and international customers.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (e.g., Law) or substantial relevant experience.
- Proven experience in commercial management within a major project or complex programme environment.
- Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts with domestic and international customers.
- A strong understanding of bid management processes and experience in supporting business-winning activities.
- Knowledge of commercial governance frameworks and processes, including Request for Bid Approval.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Finance, Estimating, and Project Management.
