We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to play a key role in our warehouse efficiency. You will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials. This position demands a strong commitment to Safety, precision, and efficiency in a demanding urban logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance needs.
- Accurately pick and stage orders according to customer requirements and internal logistics processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on duty.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- The ability to perform occasional manual Lifting of items up to 30 lbs may be required.
- Follow all company Safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workplace.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
- Contribute to the overall productivity and success of our logistics network.
- Ensure all materials are handled with care to prevent damage during transit within the facility.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support the logistics team.
- Maintain a high level of awareness regarding potential hazards in a busy urban warehouse setting.
- A strong dedication to Safe operating practices is paramount for this role.
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods according to schedule.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory. Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting. Ability to operate various types of forklifts proficiently. Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
