Join our dynamic warehouse team in Jacksonville, Florida, as an Order Picker! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently retrieve products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will play a key role in our logistics operations, ensuring that the right items are picked in the right quantities to meet customer demands. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to Safety. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners or pick lists to accurately track picked items.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Place picked items into appropriate containers (e.g., totes, boxes, pallets) for transport.
- Maintain organized and clean work areas.
- Assist with stocking and inventory management as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and policies, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental goals.
- Expect regular tasks involving Lifting of products of varying weights and sizes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order details accurately.
- Proficiency with handheld scanning devices is a plus.
- Good physical condition, with the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Strong focus on Safety and attention to detail.
