We are hiring enthusiastic Warehouse Workers for our facility in Omaha, Nebraska. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing logistics operation and contribute to the efficient handling of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will play a vital role in maintaining an organized and safe work environment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and committed to following safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques. This role is fundamental to our daily operations and requires a strong team player.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Sort and store inventory in designated locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Practice proper lifting techniques and ask for assistance when handling heavy items.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety, including the use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
