We are actively seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our Las Vegas, Nevada warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our facility, ensuring timely loading and unloading of trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory placement. This role is critical to our logistics operations, demanding precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety. We provide a secure working environment, emphasizing the importance of proper training, adherence to safety standards, and the consistent use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) to move, stack, and organize materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and system updates.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Ensure the warehouse environment remains organized and hazard-free.
- Support efficient logistics by ensuring timely movement of goods.
- Follow safe lifting practices when necessary for non-palletized items.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift operating experience in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Must wear required PPE at all times while operating equipment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
