Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanning devices.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Contribute to efficient logistics flow within the warehouse.
- Meet performance targets for order picking speed and accuracy.
- Understand and implement safe lifting practices.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets accurately.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners.
- Capability for moderate to heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and utilizing PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina, able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
