Our Miami, Florida facility is looking for Picker/Packers to join our busy warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, playing a key role in our logistics and supply chain. You will utilize RF scanners to efficiently locate and pick products, verify order accuracy, and then pack items securely for transit. Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy are essential for success in this fast-paced role. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to adhere to company safety policies and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). The position requires physical stamina, including extended periods of standing and walking, as well as bending, reaching, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Use RF scanners to confirm item selection and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and appropriately for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Verify that picked items match order specifications before packing.
- Label packages for shipment according to company procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks safely.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and mandatory PPE usage.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Meet established quotas for picking and packing productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick lists and scanner data.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Capable of frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of and adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Reliable and punctual.
