We are searching for motivated individuals to join our warehouse team, responsible for the accurate and efficient picking and packing of customer orders. This role is fundamental to our supply chain, ensuring that products are processed correctly and dispatched promptly. As a Picker/Packer, you will utilize RF scanners to locate items, verify order details, and prepare them for shipment. Precision and speed are key to success in this dynamic environment. We are committed to a safe working environment; therefore, all employees must adhere to our stringent safety protocols and wear the provided personal protective equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity, including standing for long durations, walking, bending, and regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and confirm order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify that all items and quantities match the customer order before packing.
- Label packages for shipment according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and warehouse environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Follow all safety regulations and mandatory PPE requirements.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Contribute to team goals for picking and packing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and scanner instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to perform constant standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Must be able to handle frequent lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of safety procedures in a logistics setting and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality.
