We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Durham, North Carolina. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in the movement of materials within our facility, ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain. Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory. This position requires precision, a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols, and the ability to work in a physically demanding role. You will be working with a variety of goods, and maintaining the integrity of the product is paramount. Essential duties include:
- Operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) to move materials around the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading merchandise from trucks and trailers.
- Conducting daily inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Assisting with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
