Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service to enhance their bakery experience
• Prepare and package baked goods with precision, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing
• Assist with food preparation tasks including slicing, filling, and assembling bakery items
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, display cases, and dining areas through proper bussing and sanitation practices
• Upsell bakery products to increase sales and promote new or seasonal items effectively
• Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service and product availability

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Background in quick service or fast food restaurants enhances ability to thrive in a high-energy setting
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate food portioning
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail environment is advantageous but not mandatory
