Immediately Hiring Experienced K-9 Handlers

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer/K9 Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, and responding promptly to incidents. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle various emergency situations effectively. Candidates with experience in law enforcement, military service, or security operations are highly encouraged to apply.

All applicants are required to attend an in person interview.

Requirements for Applicants:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years old
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years documented experience as a Security Officer
• Valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)
• 20-Hour Basic Security Certificate
• Must love dogs/working with dogs

Preferred Qualifications

• Documented experience as a K-9 Handler
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, security operations, or related fields is preferred.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while maintaining professionalism.
• Strong observational skills combined with excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role. Candidates Must Be Able To:

• Pass a drug screening
• Complete a psychological evaluation
• Undergo a thorough background check
• Pass a physical examination

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
• Observe activity and ensure safety protocols are maintained.
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to disturbances, or emergencies
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of daily activities, security breaches, or unusual occurrences.
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations while managing conflict situations with professionalism and tact.
• Assist visitors and staff by providing directions or information while maintaining a secure environment.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during investigations or incidents as required.
• Conduct loss prevention activities to minimize theft or vandalism within the premises.
