Cision is looking for a Solutions Consultant who is passionate about technology, storytelling, data, and the intersection of earned + social + owned media. As a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, you will design solutions that leverage the full Cision + Brandwatch ecosystem, translating complex challenges into compelling, benefit-driven narratives that demonstrate the power of integrated intelligence.

About You
You're energized by solving strategic problems across PR, communications, marketing, and consumer insights space. You can dissect a customer's workflow, identify unmet needs and pain points, and design solutions that leverage the full complement of Cision products, services, and partners.

  • Speaking to CMOs, CCOs, PR Directors, and Insights leaders about business outcomes

What You'll Do

Solution Design & Technical Leadership

  • Lead deep discovery to uncover client needs, map workflows, and design cross-suite solutions using CisionOne, Brandwatch, PR Newswire, APIs, and partner integrations.
  • Build tailored demos that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Translate complex technical concepts (API usage, data methodology, AI models, integrations) into simple, compelling narratives.

Pre-Sales Excellence

  • Serve as technical lead on strategic opportunities, guiding deal strategy, solution architecture, and evaluation criteria.
  • Identify insights in data to tell compelling stories that bring the value of Cision's solutions to life.
  • Present cutting-edge analytics approaches and demonstrate new or beta features across the Cision portfolio.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Provide structured pitch feedback to Product, contribute feature requests, and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Support RFP responses with expert contextual and technical detail.

Thought Leadership & Efficiency

  • Stay current on industry trends across PR, communications, social intelligence, AI/ML, and competitor landscape.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to demo processes, solution frameworks, and technical sales operations.
  • Champion best practices in communications intelligence, measurement, and integrated media workflows.

Post-Sale Partnership

  • Ensure smooth handoffs to Customer Success and Professional Services, creating clarity around solution design, methodology, and configuration.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in PR, digital intelligence, communications, marketing technology, analytics, or market research (SaaS preferred).
  • Proven success in Solutions Consulting, Strategy, Technical Pre-Sales, or Insight/Analytics roles.
  • Ability to design methodologies, frameworks, and solution architectures tailored to enterprise customers.
  • Exceptional communication skills—verbal, written, and visual—with the ability to simplify complexity. Comfort presenting to large enterprise audiences and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to challenge assumptions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with autonomy, accountability, and precision.
  • API expertise, enabling you to seamlessly craft connected solutions.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in PR, marketing, communication workflows, or brand/agency insights.
  • Familiarity with earned media measurement, social intelligence, audience segmentation, and data integration.
  • Prior experience with complex SaaS environments, multi-product portfolios, or cross functional pre-sales cycles.
