Associate Test Engineer

About The Role
We're looking for an
Associate Test Engineer
to support our testing team in delivering high-quality software applications and solutions. In this role, you'll assist Test Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Lead Engineers with day-to-day testing activities, including executing test cases in various environments, reviewing executed tests, and maintaining test case templates.

You'll also take part in planning and daily meetings, working under supervision while building strong foundational skills across QA and the SDLC.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Work directly with project team members to support delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Create and execute test cases, document defects, and provide testing status updates to project teams (under supervision).
  • Review executed test cases for completeness and accuracy.
  • Clone, update, and maintain test case templates.
  • Create test data and other required test assets.
  • Draft required SDLC and validation documentation (when applicable).
  • Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and commitment to testing deliverables.
  • Support GTD staff on internal initiatives as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Education

  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or Computer Science (preferred).

Experience

  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

  • Experience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Practical testing skills with an understanding of QA and development processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehend business requirements.
  • Nice to have: experience with modern test management, defect tracking, and requirements tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (preferred).
  • Team-oriented with a "can-do" attitude.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with GCP.
  • Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking software.
