Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Scientist. The position is based in New York, NY, with opportunities to work from home part-time. The Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and creating data visualizations. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to derive actionable insights, drive data-driven decision-making, and contribute to overall business strategy. The role also involves exploring trends and patterns in data and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Science and experience building predictive and machine learning models
• Strong foundation in Statistics with the ability to apply statistical methods to solve analytical problems
• Skills in Data Analysis and Data Analytics, including cleaning, transforming, and interpreting data
• Experience with Data Visualization tools and platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python visualization libraries
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, R, or SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
