Bi-monthly Pay: $22per hour depending on experience

Job Description:

Crime Deterrent Security Service, LLC is seeking dedicated, reliable security personnel to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors of International Montessori Academy. You'll play a critical role in safeguarding premises and assets, ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Respond promptly to incidents, and emergencies, and provide appropriate assistance.
• Control access to the facility and managing/monitoring visitor entrance.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism.
• Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authorities.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training, or certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree some college preferred not required.
• Prior experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role (minimum 1 year).
• Washington State guard card or ability to obtain one
• Valid Washington State driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Excellent observational and problem-solving, de-escalating skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of security operations and safety procedures.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work consecutive days as scheduled.
