Box Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, route management, and loading/unloading cargo. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck for local and Over the road (OTR) deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Manage delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of goods.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory and organizing shipments as needed.
• Handle heavy lifting and manual loading/unloading of items safely.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record And USDOT Medical Card
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role involving route driving and heavy lifting.
• Experience operating box trucks, manual transmission vehicles, forklifts, or pallet jacks is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with load & unload procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the day.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $1, $1,247.46 per week
