, we provide a membership-based model that allows users to compete in a secure, legal, and professionally managed environment. We are currently transitioning from beta to full market expansion and are seeking a driven Junior Product Manager to support our product roadmap and development lifecycle.
Position Summary
The Junior Product Manager will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders, the user community, and the engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating high-level product strategies into actionable technical requirements. You will work within an Agile framework to manage the product backlog, ensure high-quality releases, and optimize the mobile user experience for iOS and Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Product Planning & Execution
- Collaborate with senior management to define product requirements and translate them into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in Jira, ensuring the engineering team has a steady stream of clearly defined tasks.
- Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives, to track progress and remove blockers.
Quality Assurance & User Experience
- Monitor user feedback channels, App Store reviews, and support tickets to identify system bugs and usability issues.
- Triaging reported issues based on severity and impact, working closely with QA and developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features to ensure they meet quality standards before release.
Data Analysis & Market Research
- Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Daily Active Users (DAU), retention rates, and session length to inform product decisions.
- Conduct competitive analysis of the mobile gaming and online poker landscape to identify market trends and opportunities for feature differentiation.
- Utilize data to recommend improvements to the user interface (UI) and user economy.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a liaison between the digital product team and the physical operations team at Texas Card House to ensure brand consistency across live and digital channels.
- Prepare release notes and documentation to update internal stakeholders on product changes and new features.
Qualifications
- Experience:
1-3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or a related role within the technology or gaming sectors.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Linear). Understanding of the mobile software development lifecycle (SDLC) is strongly preferred.
- Analytical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with SQL or data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Mixpanel) is a plus.
- Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain Knowledge:
Deep understanding of poker game mechanics, rules, and tournament structures is highly desirable to effectively advocate for the player experience.
- Industry Experience:
Prior exposure to the mobile gaming industry, specifically real-money gaming (RMG) or social casino apps.
- Cryptocurrency Knowledge:
Familiarity with blockchain technology or cryptocurrency wallets as they relate to
