Pleasant Mattress Inc., a maker of Spring Air, Chattam and Wells, and McRoskey Mattresses with over 60 years of continuous operation under the leadership of the Morgenstern family, is seeking candidates to join our Fresno team.

Pleasant Mattress is seeking candidates with Janitorial Experience for a full time position as our Janitor.

Full-Time Position: Monday through Friday (Schedule may vary based on the needs of the Factory) Shift starts as early as 6:00 am.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for all Janitorial Duties

• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, supplying restrooms and empty trash cans daily
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
• Complete regularly scheduled maintenance duties like cleaning windows and scrubbing counter tops
• Notify the Facilities Manager of any major repairs needed

Qualifications:

• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
• MUST have 1 year of experience in cleaning services as a janitor or similar job
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to stand all day; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves walking up to a mile each day and lifting up to 30 pounds for short periods of time throughout the day.
