The Manufacturing Janitorial position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment within our Food & Beverage laundry operations. This role supports compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards by ensuring production areas, equipment surroundings, and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained.

• Clean and sanitize manufacturing and production areas in accordance with company standards
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, drains, walls, work surfaces, and equipment surroundings
• Properly handle, store, and dispose of waste and recyclable materials
• Clean restrooms, break areas, and offices as assigned
• Follow established cleaning schedules, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and supplies in compliance with training and labeling requirements
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or sanitation concerns to supervision
• Support audits and inspections by maintaining a consistently clean facility
• Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and supervision teams
• Follow all company policies related to safety, hygiene, attendance, and professionalism

• Adhere to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Prevent cross-contamination by following proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Maintain separation between clean and soiled areas
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Required:

• Ability to follow detailed cleaning and sanitation instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

Preferred:

• Prior janitorial or sanitation experience in a manufacturing, food, or industrial environment
• Familiarity with food safety or GMP standards
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, and reaching

• Manufacturing and industrial laundry setting
• Exposure to noise, heat, moisture, and cleaning chemicals
• PPE required
