We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood education journey. Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable.
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
  • Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain order and foster respectful interactions among students.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools and observational methods to monitor each child's progress in childhood development milestones.
  • Plan and execute engaging lessons that incorporate early intervention strategies and support children with special education needs.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about child welfare, progress reports, and developmental goals.
  • Incorporate age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, motor development, literacy skills, and basic math concepts.
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining high standards of childcare and daycare best practices.
  • Support children's emotional well-being through nurturing interactions and behavior management techniques.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, including training in teaching physical education, tutoring strategies, or Montessori techniques.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
  • Demonstrated classroom experience with early childhood education principles and curriculum development.
  • Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices for toddler care and early intervention programs.
  • Experience managing diverse classrooms with children of varying abilities, including those requiring special education accommodations.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures used in early childhood assessments.
  • Background in teaching literacy education, math fundamentals, or physical education at the preschool level is highly desirable.
  • Previous private school experience or work within Montessori environments is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
