Plumber Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Plumber Helper to assist experienced plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in construction plumbing projects and provides opportunities to develop technical skills in a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic mechanical knowledge, and a willingness to learn.

Duties

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites.
• Support the setup and operation of power tools, hand tools, and pipe threading equipment.
• Help with cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes and fixtures according to specifications.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations and remodeling projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.
• Support field service operations including troubleshooting plumbing issues on-site.
• Assist with HVAC, remodeling, maintenance, and maintenance person tasks as required.

Requirements

• Prior experience or background in construction, construction plumbing, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, HVAC systems, and mechanical concepts is a plus.
• Construction site experience including remodeling or maintenance work is advantageous.
• Ability to operate welding equipment and perform basic fabrication tasks is desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning plumbing techniques.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Prior maintenance person experience or carpentry skills are beneficial but not required. This position provides valuable industry experience for individuals interested in building a career in plumbing or construction trades while supporting ongoing projects through hands-on assistance.
