We are seeking experienced SAT/ACT Instructors, with a strong preference for SAT specialization, to support students preparing for college entrance exams through engaging, data-driven virtual instruction.Position OverviewThe SAT/ACT Instructor will deliver targeted, high-impact test preparation for middle and high school students in a virtual environment. Instructors will help students build content mastery, test-taking strategies, and confidence while tracking progress and adjusting instruction based on performance data.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, live virtual SAT and/or ACT preparation sessions (small group and/or 1:1)
• Teach SAT content areas, with emphasis on Math, Evidence-Based Reading & Writing, and test strategy
• Analyze student performance data to identify strengths, gaps, and growth trends
• Design and adapt lesson plans aligned to student needs and exam objectives
• Provide actionable feedback and progress updates to students and families
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, instruction, and assessment data
• Collaborate with A+ Virtual Learning leadership and instructional team as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong SAT teaching experience (preferred); ACT experience welcomed
• Proven success helping students improve SAT/ACT scores
• Deep understanding of exam structure, scoring, and pacing strategies
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching or tutoring experience (test prep or secondary education preferred)
• Experience teaching in a virtual or remote environment
• Ability to engage students using multiple modalities (visuals, practice sets, discussion, real-time feedback)
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently

Schedule & Availability

• Flexible scheduling
• Evening and weekend availability strongly preferred
• Commitment to teaching at least 2–3 sessions per week
