  • We are a long standing, high volume, family-owned restaurant seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager who takes full ownership of daily operations.
  • This role is for a leader who actively managers inventory, prep, staff accountability and standards,.
  • While working collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation, the General Manager is responsible for the success and operation of the kitchen and front of the restaurant. They will foster a positive and rewarding work environment for all employees lending to remarkable guest experience.
  • The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets our Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
  • The General Manager works with his/her leaders to set the restaurant's goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals.
  • Develops professional and collaborative working relationships with all employees and vendors.
  • You have at least 3 years of leadership experience in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industry with responsibility for financial results.

Essential Duties

  • Creates environment that assures exceptional employee and guest experiences
  • Works on the line, trains and develops kitchen staff
  • Assists with updating employee handbook and policies, and ensuring policies are being followed.
  • Manages the oversight of operational, safety and culinary service standards of the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared safely, efficiently, and according to specifications or request

Job Duties

  • Daily walk-in checks, inventory control and prep planning.
  • Manages mutually beneficial and professional relationships with partners, vendors, and service providers
  • Lead, coach and hold managers and staff accountable.
  • Responsible for catering orders and catering team.
  • Maintains exceptional quality standards
  • Maintains and inspects kitchen equipment and utensils, recommending repairs or replacements as needed
  • Maintains kitchen budget
  • Monitor food and labor costs
  • Develops and reviews employee schedules, purchase requests, purchase orders while keeping within budgeted targets
  • Serve as primary operational leading in the owner's absence.

Supervisory Responsibilities Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, supervising and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44, $60,000.00 per year
