For over 30 years, Bruster's has offered artisan, small-batch ice cream and frozen desserts made fresh daily in their on-site kitchens with dairy from their Pennsylvania farm. While Bruster's has been delighting taste buds for decades, our Las Vegas location is a vibrant and growing part of the community, serving up fresh happiness since February 2022. Role and Responsibilities

Think this is just about scooping ice cream? Think again As a Bruster's Team Member, you're the face of our fun and the key to creating memorable moments for our guests. You'll learn the ins and outs of our "Fresh is Best" philosophy, becoming a flavor expert ready to guide our guests through over 40 delicious options (sampling is definitely encouraged).

But it's not just about the treats. You'll also be:

• A Guest Rockstar: Greeting everyone with a smile and making them feel welcome from the moment they reach our window or drive-thru. You'll develop your communication skills by confidently offering samples, describing our decadent creations, and helping them find their perfect indulgence.
• A Master of the Menu: Learning to craft the perfect cone, blend a dreamy shake, and assemble a show-stopping banana split. These hands-on skills are not only fun to learn but also teach you precision and attention to detail.
• A Team Player: Working alongside your fellow Team Members in a fast-paced, energetic environment. You'll learn the importance of teamwork, communication, and supporting each other to deliver exceptional service. These collaborative skills are crucial for success in any team setting, now and in the future.
• A Keeper of Clean: Contributing to a sparkling clean and inviting atmosphere, both inside and out. You'll learn responsibility and the importance of maintaining high standards.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 16 Years of Age
• Prior Work Experience (This could include previous jobs, leadership roles in clubs or sports teams, significant volunteer work, or consistent responsibility within your family. Tell us about a time you showed you could be counted on)
• A genuinely friendly and positive attitude and willingness to work as a team
• Demonstrated Accountability and Strong Work Ethic (We're looking for individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of showing up and giving their best. These are the kind of qualities that will set you up for success in anything you do.)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills (You'll face different situations every day, from a long line to a special order. You'll learn to think on your feet and communicate effectively with both guests and your team – essential skills for navigating life)
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time
• Must be willing and able to clean and work clean

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Customer Service or Hospitality Industries
• Valid Food Handler Card and knowledge of health department codes
• Knowledge of NCR Silver, NCR Aloha Cloud, NCR Aloha, or similar POS system

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 24 per week
