Dumptruck driver

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of construction site dynamics. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations while adhering to all safety regulations.

Duties

• Operate dump trucks
• Transport construction materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and dirt to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating dump trucks and other heavy machinery in a construction environment.
• Mechanical knowledge of vehicles and equipment for troubleshooting minor issues.
• Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus.
• Experience with paving operations is desirable.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing site requirements.
