Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Breakfast Cook for the 6AM shift to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong background in kitchen operations, ensuring timely and high-quality breakfast service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with culinary experience to contribute to a vibrant dining environment and deliver exceptional meal experiences.

Duties

• Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling and safety protocols
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to support daily breakfast service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
• Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy morning hours
• Adhere to dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs when required
• Support catering or special event meal preparations as needed
• Cleanup after your shift for incoming staff.

Skills

• Experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or culinary settings preferred
• Strong food preparation, cooking, and food safety skills
• Knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly techniques
• Fine dining or restaurant experience highly desirable
• Proficiency in food handling, knife skills, and meal presentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent understanding of food industry standards and catering procedures
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
