Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing customer interactions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Candidates should possess strong multitasking skills, proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. Experience in the food industry, retail math, and cash handling is highly valued.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Take orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Manage cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cashiering and food handling procedures
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and creating a welcoming environment
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces to meet food safety standards
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
• Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations related to alcohol service and food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery
• Handle multiple responsibilities such as serving at nightclubs or banquet events while maintaining professionalism

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing tabs accurately
• Familiarity with food industry operations including serving, catering, and food handling
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or hospitality venues
• Previous restaurant experience or retail math background is advantageous
