Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and professional Overnight Security Guards to provide after-hours security coverage at Bellows Beach Park. This role is ideal for individuals who are calm, observant, and capable of working independently in a quiet overnight environment while ensuring park property and facilities remain secure.

Guards assigned to this post play a key role in preventing unauthorized access, monitoring park activity, and responding appropriately to incidents during non-operational hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor for unauthorized entry, trespassing, or suspicious activity
• Enforce park rules and after-hours restrictions professionally
• Observe, document, and report incidents or unusual conditions
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and emergency services when needed
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter vandalism or misuse of park property

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii Guard Card (required)
• Ability to work overnight shifts in an outdoor environment
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during incidents
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior security, patrol, or overnight monitoring experience
• Experience working park, beach, or outdoor assignments
• Familiarity with incident reporting procedures
