Mission:
Drive clear, consistent, and engaging internal communications that strengthen alignment, enhance company culture, and support MGA Entertainment's strategic priorities. This role develops and manages communication strategies, messaging, content, and channels that inform, inspire, and connect employees across global offices. Reporting into the SVP of HR, the Internal Communications Manager plays a critical role in supporting organizational clarity, employee engagement, and a strong, unified culture across all MGA locations.
Position Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, human resources, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, HR communications, or corporate communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
- Experience managing communication channels such as intranets, newsletters, company-wide announcements, and town hall meetings.
- Strong project management abilities and demonstrated success working cross-functionally with HR, leaders, and teams across the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment when handling sensitive or HR-related information.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with or without direct authority.
- A proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused mindset.
- Experience in fast-paced, creative, or consumer-facing industries preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute MGA's internal communications strategy in partnership with the SVP of HR and key business leaders.
- Ensure all internal messaging supports company goals , culture initiatives, and organizational updates.
- Manage the creation and distribution of internal communications, including company-wide announcements, Business and HR updates, newsletters, talking points, FAQs, internal articles, scripts, and leadership messages.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leadership on communication strategies for organizational change, policy updates, employee programs, and sensitive or confidential communications.
- Draft and support executive communications for the SVP of HR and senior leadership, including messaging for town halls, global meetings, videos, and written communications.
- Oversee MGA's internal communications channels—such as the intranet, digital screens, and company-wide communications platforms—to ensure timely, engaging, and consistent content.
- Collaborate with HR on culture-building efforts, employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, onboarding communication, and internal events.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support communication needs during major business initiatives, product milestones, and organizational announcements.
- Ensure all communication reflects MGA's values, tone, and brand identity, enhancing alignment and employee understanding across global offices.
- Measure communication effectiveness and continuously optimize channels and processes for impact and clarity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field.
- 5–7 years of internal communications experience, preferably within HR communications or corporate communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to develop communications strategies that drive engagement and clarity.
- Strong project management and time-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives while handling confidential information with discretion.
- Experience supporting leadership messaging and managing company-wide communications initiatives.
- Ability to influence without authority and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- High level of professionalism, maturity, and emotional intelligence.
- Willingness to take a hands-on approach and execute both strategy and day-to-day deliverables.

Salary:
$100, $125,000.00 /annually
