Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked goods with precision, following established recipes and food safety guidelines
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately
• Provide friendly customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and suggesting products through effective upselling techniques
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery area, including food handling, bussing tables, and cleaning equipment
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely food preparation and customer service during busy periods
• Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation procedures and proper food handling practices

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, bakery operations, or food service environments such as quick service or fast-food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions
• Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and inventory management
• Experience in retail or grocery store environments is a plus for understanding product presentation and sales techniques
