Structural/Civil Concrete Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural/Civil Concrete Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating costs related to structural concrete components, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. Your expertise will help shape project budgets, facilitate negotiations, and support project management teams from inception through completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction endeavors, leveraging your skills in estimation, cost control, and construction management to deliver outstanding results. Position includes truck allowance and fuel card.

Core Responsibilities

• Independently perform full-scope quantity takeoffs for:
• Structural foundations and footings
• Slabs-on-grade and elevated concrete decks
• Columns, walls, and shear walls
• Reinforcing steel, embeds, and anchor bolts
• Prepare complete bid estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Thoroughly review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and addenda
• Identify scope gaps, constructability issues, and pricing risks
• Solicit, evaluate, and level vendor and rebar quotes
• Coordinate with project management and operations prior to bid submission
• Manage estimating documentation and bid handoff through Procore
• Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and post-bid analysis

Required Experience & Qualifications

All requirements below are mandatory:

• 3–7 years of estimating experience specifically in structural concrete
• Proven experience estimating commercial and/or industrial concrete projects
• Working knowledge of Procore Project Management software & estimating tools
• Ability to independently complete takeoffs without supervision
• Strong understanding of concrete placement methods, formwork systems, and reinforcing steel
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings

Preferred (Not Required)

• Field experience (foreman, superintendent, or project engineer)
• Knowledge of local labor productivity and material pricing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $75,000.00 per year
