Part-Time Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior delivery driver experience, familiarity with warehouse operations, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. This position offers part-time hours and an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on timely deliveries and customer service.

Duties

• Safely operate company vehicle vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, to pickup and deliver customer orders
• Load and unload items using manual handling techniques
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely service
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
• Assist with operational tasks such as inventory management and detailing customer orders into POS system
• Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for as required
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after routes
• Handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed during loading and unloading processes

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving tasks safely
• Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to handle physical demands of the job including long periods of driving and moving items

This role is essential for ensuring efficient delivery operations while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $ $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
