Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Prior experience in cleaning or custodial services, especially within hotels or hospitality environments, is highly valued. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper care techniques such as sweeping, mopping, and floor polishing
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests
• Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning and janitorial tasks to meet health and safety standards
• Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly to ensure guest safety and comfort
• Adhere to all safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed within the facility

Experience

• Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred
• Experience with floor care techniques such as polishing or buffing is advantageous
• Hotel or hospitality industry experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment is a plus
• Background in housekeeping management or supervisory roles can be beneficial for leadership opportunities
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following detailed instructions
