Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a home setting. Ventilator experience is helpful but not necessary. This is a slower paced environment providing care for up to three individuals with developmental disabilities and medical needs with the assistance of a direct care staff. This position is an awake night shift position, 7pm -7am.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation.
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols
• Perform medical procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding
• Provide specialized care for patients with developmental disabilities.
• Support discharge planning, case management
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in infection control practices and aseptic techniques to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
• Spend quality time with the individuals interacting and socializing to enhance their daily life.

Experience
. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
