Position Overview:

The Department of Biology seeks a Student Worker to support the Biology Main Office.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assists office staff with daily operations  
  • Assists with generating flyers for events and social media posts   
  • Support departmental community events   
  • On-Campus errands   
  • Assisting students and general public

Learning Objectives: 

  • Develop customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Develop skills working with various types of data

Required Qualifications: 

  • Practical experience in an office setting 
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • The student employee must commit to working 3 hours on Tuesday and Fridays, from 11:00 - 2:00pm
