THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated Power BI Engineer to join our client's team in their new Denver office. In this role, you will join a passionate team that is driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and visualize legal data, making a difference for legal professionals everywhere.
This role is hybrid to the Denver, CO area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design, develop, and maintain BI reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate technical specs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and execute database queries and perform analyses.
- Create visualizations and reports for specified projects.
- Evaluate, improve, and optimize current reporting.
- Maintain data connectivity and refresh schedules for all Power BI reports.
- Assist with troubleshooting system and data issues.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Certification in Power BI.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power Automate.
- Experience with advanced data visualization techniques.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with Snowflake, Rivery, dbt, or Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI Copilot or other AI assisted reporting tools is a plus.
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
