Stone Fabricator

Job Summary

Dimensional Stoneworks is seeking a skilled and motivated Stone Fabricator / Polisher to join our growing team. This hands-on role is ideal for a craftsman who takes pride in precision, quality, and producing exceptional finished stone products. You will work with premium natural and engineered stone materials to fabricate and polish countertops, slabs, and custom architectural features for high-end residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, polish, and finish natural and engineered stone using industry-specific equipment such as saws, grinders, polishers, and CNC or manual fabrication tools
• Read and interpret shop drawings, templates, and project specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
• Safely operate material-handling equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes
• Perform edge detailing, surface finishing, and final quality checks to meet Dimensional Stoneworks' quality standards
• Assist with setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of fabrication equipment
• Perform light mechanical or welding tasks to support shop fixtures and tooling when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in stone fabrication, polishing, manufacturing, or skilled construction trades preferred
• Experience working with granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, porcelain, or similar materials is a plus
• Comfortable operating power tools, fabrication machinery, and heavy equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, or templates with accuracy
• Mechanical aptitude; welding or equipment maintenance experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet in a fabrication environment
• Warehouse or shop experience preferred

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
