We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized café space. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices during preparation and serving.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere that enhances customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and experience in food preparation or food service is beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
