Role Description
The Associate Underwriter is responsible for supporting the underwriting team in assessing and analyzing commercial insurance applications. This includes the following:
- Risk assessment and analysis
- Underwriting support
- Policy issuance
- Client communication
- Claims & loss analysis
- Market research
- Collaboration
- Policy renewals
- Compliance & regulations
- Reporting & analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or related fields
- Demonstrates integrity, optimism, ambition and a strong worth ethic
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and general computer systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
