Customer Service Representative
Location: Perham, MN
Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Esser Plumbing & Heating is seeking a friendly, dependable Customer Service Representative to join our Perham business office. This role is often the first voice our customers hear , so we're looking for someone who truly enjoys helping people and believes the phone should always be answered with a smile. If you're organized, calm under pressure, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do:

• Answer incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries in a professional, friendly manner — always with a smile
• Schedule and confirm service appointments accurately and efficiently
• Communicate clearly with customers about services, timing, and next steps
• Support technicians by relaying job details, schedule changes, and special requests
• Enter customer and service information accurately into our system
• Assist with customer follow-ups after service to ensure satisfaction
• Help resolve customer questions or concerns and escalate issues when needed

What We're Looking For:

• Prior customer service experience (phone-based experience preferred)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
• Attention to detail and comfort with computers and basic office software
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
• Experience with Service Titan or another CRM system is a plus
• Familiarity with plumbing or HVAC terminology is helpful, but not required
