Automotive Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive services, suspension alignment, vehicle upgrades and restorations. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. As an Automotive Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and technical expertise are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Ensuring vehicle repairs and or upgrades done meet safety regulations.
• Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Ability to install a wide variety of auto accessories / updrades that meet manfactures specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Engage in auto body repair tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair or service, preferably in a dealership or technical setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex issues accurately.
• Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for various vehicle systems.
• Experience in suspension and alignment using Hunter alignment equipment is a plus.
• Knowledgeable with auto accessories installation and full restorations is a plus.
• Experience with welding techniques is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

Pay: $ $23.50 per hour
