Company Overview

E&E Capital Management, LLC manages professionally operated multifamily communities. We are seeking an experienced full-time Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations and participate in an on-call rotation limited strictly to emergency situations after normal business hours.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of a multifamily property through general maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and unit readiness. This role also includes participation in a scheduled on-call rotation to respond to emergency maintenance issues only.

Candidates must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience working for a property management company or in a multifamily maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
  • Complete unit make-readies and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls during assigned on-call shifts (e.g., water leaks, HVAC outages, electrical hazards, safety issues).
  • Properly diagnose issues, make safe repairs, and determine when vendor escalation is required.
  • Accurately complete work orders and document all maintenance and emergency activity.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, management, and vendors.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working for a property management company or in multifamily maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs).
  • Ability to work independently and respond calmly during emergency situations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong time-management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPA 608 certification
  • HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications
  • Prior experience with emergency on-call rotations in a multifamily setting

Schedule & On-Call Expectations

  • Full-time, daytime schedule during regular business hours
  • Participation in a rotating on-call schedule
  • On-call work is limited strictly to emergency situations only
  • No routine or non-urgent maintenance is expected after hours
