As we scale, we are looking for a strategic and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day functions of the business and ensure smooth execution across all departments.
About the Role
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the company, ensuring alignment between fulfillment, sales, marketing, and customer service teams. You will oversee and optimize existing processes, create new operational strategies where needed, and provide regular reports to the CEO on business performance and key metrics. This is a leadership role requiring strong organizational, problem-solving, and team management skills to drive efficiency and growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Operations & Strategy Execution:
- Oversee and manage all core business functions, including fulfillment, sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Refine existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Implement new SOPs where necessary
- Identify inefficiencies and optimize workflows to improve productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Set operational goals and ensure alignment with the company's growth strategy.
2. Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and support team leaders across fulfillment, sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Recruit and onboard new team members as needed to support growth.
3. Fulfillment & Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee inventory levels, procurement, and warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and suppliers.
- Implement demand forecasting to optimize stock levels and reduce inefficiencies.
- Ensure smooth delivery operations and minimize shipping delays.
4. Sales & Marketing Coordination:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and promotions.
- Track sales performance and identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Align marketing strategies with operational capabilities to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
5. Customer Service & Experience Enhancement:
- Ensure customer service processes are efficient and customer-centric.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement solutions to improve satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve escalated issues effectively.
6. Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze key operational and financial metrics, providing insights to the CEO.
- Prepare regular performance reports with data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Use KPIs to monitor efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Preferable experience in e-commerce
- 5+ years of experience in operations, business management, or a similar leadership role in e-commerce or retail.
- Strong experience in managing teams, including fulfillment, sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon), inventory management software, and analytics tools. Dispayls solid skill in Spreadsheets.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to engage and motivate teams.
- Proven track record of optimizing business operations and driving efficiency improvements.
